C# WPF DEVELOPER- Investment banking

A senior C# WPF developer is urgently required by a leading investment bank to work in the front offce creating a number of new UI's.


Person Requirements
Qualifications/Education Required
* University degree

Experience Required

* Strong Development Experience using C# and .Net technologies
* Good experience in WPF development and GUI usability
* Write code that is robust, maintainable, testable, efficient, and fit for purpose (in other words, high quality code)
* Good business knowledge in basic fixed-income instruments, other asset classes will be considered
* Good knowledge of Risk and risk based explain
* Working experience of some/all of the following technologies: WCF, Spring.Net (or similar), sockets, threading and boost.
* Design/Architecture skills. Some knowledge about building scalable Enterprise Level systems.
* Working within a source-code controlled environment
* Development Experience using SQL Server and Oracle
* Experience of working in a development team with a significant code base
* Experience of the Full Development and Testing Life Cycle
* Knowledge of the design, development and deployment of enterprise-wide software and related systems.
* Experience of additional programming languages and environments like Java.
