JAVA EQUITIES TECHNICAL LEAD

Leading global investment bank are currently seeking a hands-on Java technical lead to deliver a completely brand new trading platform for Delta1/Program trading. This opportunity will offer the chance to work in a challenging and greenfield environment which is hugely backed up by the business as they aim to be global number #1 in equities. The successful candidate will come on board and play a key role in shaping the next generation equities trading platform for this tier 1 investment bank.

Responsibilities will include:
* Contribute with the ability to design, develop, test, and deliver high performance, low latency, scalable, functionally-rich Front Office trading applications.
* Hands-on technical leader who can mentor and guide the development team.
* Lead by example in delivering quality, business alignment and on time technical solutions.
* Build close relationships with the business.

To be successful you must have:
* Expert level core Java
* Strong technical skills, with particular focus on Real Time systems, scaleability, exchange trading systems
* Experience in working within equities trading
* Experience within a large, globally distributed technology team for an investment bank.
