Project Manager - Regulatory Change Technology, Hong Kong

Our client are a prestigious wealth management organisation with offices globally. With the world of finance changing on a rapid basis, they are seeking the services of a seasoned project manager to undertake systems change projects specifically related to regulatory change.

Job Description:
* Working with the legal and compliance teams, your role will be to assess the impact of reglatory change to the technology environment and undertake work to identify areas for technology reform.
* You will be expected to understand the existing suite of applications used internally and externally for trading, risk, customer relationship management, sales and back office and how rules may need to change to become compliant
* Managing projects from conception through to implementation by working with senior stakeholders, development teams and other regulatory project groups in the bank
* Tracking and planning projects to understand the financial impact to technology and the business
Skills Required:
* Strong project management experience gained from working in an investment bank, wealth manager or private banking environment
* Understanding of some kind of regulatory reform and experience managing technology projects with this in mind
* Excellent knowledge of how applications in a financial markets environment are structured
* Experience managing senior stakeholders; reporting back to Managing Director level individuals
