Python Developer

My Client, a top investment bank in the NY Metro area is looking for a Mid to Senior level Python developers to join their staff. These are full time employment opportunities with a compensation range of 120-150K with the potential of a competitive bonus package.
The ideal candidates will be required to work in an Agile development environment and be able to provide specific, measurable and accurate estimates on short timescales in an intellectually challenging environment. The candidate will be required to become proficient in the tools and methods of the team in a short space of time and will be expected to make an ongoing contribution to improving the design, performance and auditable quality of the overall solution.
Candidates will be required to have working experience using both Python and C++, but the preference is for people with experience across a range of languages and technologies, especially C++/C, Python, Lisp/Scheme, Ruby, Scala, and Haskell. At this point candidates with Java and C# will not be considered. A strong background in computer science is a must and specialized finance knowledge desirable, but definitely not required.
