Senior Project Manager - Networks & Infrastructure - Hong Kong

Our client are a global financial markets corporate who operate in the investment banking, wealth management, private banking and asset management space. They are currently seeking a project manager with a strong voice and data networking background to join their technology function in Hong Kong

Job Description
* You will take responsibility for projects in the voice and data network space; managing governance, controls and transformation
* Managing a vendor partner relationship to ensure clear, precise instruction around new projects is given and proper milestones and deliverables are met
* Prioritise a large list of projects for delivery in 2012
* Mentoring and motivating a small team of infrastructure engineers
Skills Required:-
* Structured background in managing infrastructure projects specifically in a voice or data networking environment
* Good understanding of IT operations, processes and controls
* Demonstrable project management experience in a financial markets / investment banking environment where network speeds and resiliency are business critical
* Experience managing budgets
* Experience managing outsourced vendor relationships
* Must be a strong influencer; strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for this position
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a large program of work that has been approved for delivery in 2012. You will form a pivotal role with other key technology managers to shape and drive through initiatives in the voice and data space.
